Ellie Harrison, Tea Blog
It was suggested that I research the artist Ellie Harrison, as her live archiving projects are relevant to the project I am about to undertake.
I came across “Tea Blog”, a 3 year project in which Harrison recorded and archived the thought that was most on her mind every time she sat to drink a cup of tea.
There are 1,650 thoughts recorded on the blog.
I particularly love that you don’t have to read all the entries to gain an understanding of the project and imagine yourself having to do this whenever you drank tea. It’s very inspiring, and made me wonder whether I should try a website instead, but due to a very limited understanding of website design I should probably stick to what I know best: books.
Anyway, click here for Tea Blog, and enjoy!
